Left-Populism: from the economic crisis to the pandemic<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A few years after the economic crisis in 2008, social movements rejected the politics of austerity and claimed that politicians did not represent them. Political parties from the left such as Syriza in Greece and Podemos in Spain to La France Insoumise and Corbynism within the Labour Party in UK challenged the politics of the establishment to channel people\u2019s discontent.
